• Bore diameter: 54 mm

• Stroke: 63.1 mm (standard)

• Compression ratio: 12.0:1

• Roller aluminum rocker arms:

  • Intake valves: 21.5 mm × 2
  • Exhaust valves: 18.5 mm × 2
  • Valve stem diameter: 4.0 mm

• Uneven pitch valve springs (dual pitch) are used to reduce the risk of surging at high RPMs.

• An M8 spark plug is used to match the optimal valve angle and compact design of the 4-valve SOHC cylinder head.

• Automatic decompression camshaft (10/10D):
  Ensures smooth starting, even with larger engine displacements, and reduces the load on the kickstart and transmission system.

Important Notes

Injection controller required:
When installing the Super Head 4V+R kit, it is necessary to use the FI Con TYPE-X injection controller for optimal engine management.

Recommendation for crankshaft support:
Takegawa recommends installing a crankshaft support adapter to enhance durability. This adapter adds a ball bearing support to the flywheel side of the crankshaft, reducing stress and increasing strength.
