In StockReinforced decompression spring, 70% stronger for Zongshen 190 - 212cc and Daytona Anima engines. It helps reduce the load on the starting chain by preventing the inertia weight from swinging before the engine starts, and it also helps during shutdown by preventing kickbacks.
There is a small job/check to do during installation. Since the spring is 1 mm longer, it may cause the inertia weight to jam.
If this occurs, you should carefully straighten the retention plate using a vise attached to the engine.
Ensure that you straighten the retention plate mentioned above or remove part of the end of the inertia weight, otherwise it may cause the spring to break when tightening. Also, make sure the spring is correctly positioned during installation to prevent it from breaking. The weight should move freely without excessive play; otherwise, the arm will not interrupt the cam roller.
